GHANAIAN METHODIST FELLOWSHIP UK CHAPLAINCY CHOIR

The Ghanaian Methodist Fellowship Chaplaincy choir was formed in 2001 and inaugurated in June 2007. Prior to this, the choir consisted of few members who led the worship and singing at fellowship services. At the beginning there were only 14 but this has now grown to 60 active members. The choirs membership is made up of members from various Local Methodist Churches all around London who meet twice a month for choir practice and lead the monthly fellowship service at Westminster Central Hall every second Sunday at 3pm and the St Marks Methodist Church on the fourth Sunday of each month at 4pm.

The main aim and objective of the choir is to bring Ghanaian choristers based in the UK together and also to introduce the Ghanaian Methodist form of worship and praises to our local Methodist Churches in the UK. The choir specialises in Methodist Hymns, local Ghanaian choruses and praise songs.
